High Mileage Coverage

The rubric

How the score works

Paid placement. Click 4 Coverage is a client of OwnersFirm, which publishes this site and is paid when a reader who arrives from it buys coverage. The card on this page is advertising. Nothing on this page was scored or ordered for it.

100 points. Every one of them traces to a page a company published or a record a government keeps. This page shows the weights, the arithmetic, the sources, how the site is paid and how to correct us.

The rubric

The vehicle rubric. A fact a company does not publish scores zero. The /5 figure is the score divided by 20, to one decimal.

The arithmetic, worked once

Here is the advertiser, scored from its own site as read on October 16, 2026. We show it because it is the company paying for the card, and the reader should see that its number is built the same way as everyone else's.

Click 4 Coverage on the rubric, October 16, 2026. 60 of 100 is 3.0 of 5. Tables on this site use the live provider file, which can move this number when the company's site changes.

Three changes on its own site would move it: a public sample contract (15), its legal entity printed (5), its obligor named (8). The rubric is the same list for every company.

Eligibility on a high-mileage site

The high-mileage lists use three fields that are not scored but decide who is on a list at all. High-mileage eligible is yes only when a company's own site says it accepts a car at 100,000 miles or more at purchase; it is unpublished when the site says nothing. Mileage limit is the highest reading the company prints, "no cap" when it says in writing there is none. Age limit is the oldest vehicle it prints, in years. A company that publishes none of the three is left out of every high-mileage cut. The advertiser publishes none of them today, so it is left out too.

Sources and pull dates

Tie rule

Equal scores sort alphabetically by company name. Nothing else breaks a tie.

How this site is paid

Click 4 Coverage is a client of OwnersFirm, which publishes this site. OwnersFirm is paid when a reader who arrives from here buys coverage. Every link to the advertiser runs through a /go/ address on this domain so the click can be counted; no other company's link is tracked or paid. The card is labeled "Paid placement" wherever it appears. Its table rows are scored by the rubric above and never placed by hand. If the advertiser should rank higher, the fix is on its own site, not in our file.

What is not scored

No reviews, no cost, no customer service. We do not use review sites or ratings badges for any number. We do not price contracts, because the price on an older car depends on the car, the reading and the plan. We do not grade phone calls or claims experiences we did not have.

Corrections

If a company's own site prints a term that differs from a row here, send OwnersFirm the page address. We read it, change the row if the page supports it, and print the new pull date. We do not change a row on a phone call or an email claim without a published page behind it.

Confirm against your VIN. The factory clock starts at first sale, not at the model year. Terms vary by model year, trim and market.
