Half again past six figures
150,000 miles: where printed limits start to rule names out

150,000 miles. Half again past the six-figure mark. This is the reading where the limits companies print begin to rule names out.
Two printed limits, side by side
olive's FAQ prints a limit of 10 model years or 140,000 miles (olive.com/faqs). A car at 150,000 is past that line. Endurance's FAQ prints vehicles 20 model years old or newer, with no mileage limit (endurancewarranty.com/faq). There, mileage alone does not rule a 150,000 mile car out; the age still can.
Both were read on October 16, 2026, on each company's own FAQ page. Neither is an offer to you. The quote decides, and a company that prints nothing has told you nothing yet.
The factory side
At 150,000 miles there is no factory term in our brand table left to compare against. Every powertrain term ended by 100,000. If someone talks about "extending your warranty" at this reading, the product on the table is a service contract, not a warranty.
Confirm against your VIN. The factory clock starts at first sale, not at the model year. Terms vary by model year, trim and market.
Who prints a limit at or past 150,000 miles
4 of 21 companies in the file print a limit at or past 150,000 miles. 1 print a lower one. 16 print none at all, which you learn only at the quote.

Alphabetical, not ranked. A printed limit is what the company says on its own pages; the quote decides.
Questions for the quote
- Is an inspection required before coverage starts, and who pays for it?
- What does the pre-existing condition clause say, word for word?
- Does the plan pay the repair shop directly, or do I pay and wait?
- Are seals and gaskets on the list, or off it?
- What changes on the price or the plan if the reading crosses a mark during the quote?
What to expect on your model
Mileage is half of it. The other half is the car itself. The advertiser keeps model-year pages by make and model with the factory terms and the questions owners ask. Those pages are theirs, not ours.
