High Mileage Coverage

Deep into six figures

200,000 miles: fewer names, the same questions

Paid placement. Click 4 Coverage is a client of OwnersFirm, which publishes this site and is paid when a reader who arrives from it buys coverage. The card on this page is advertising. Nothing on this page was scored or ordered for it.

200,000 miles. A long way from the showroom. Some companies still quote here. Each one that does has already said yes at every reading below it.

What "no mileage limit" means at this reading

Endurance's FAQ prints no mileage limit and a 20 model year age limit (endurancewarranty.com/faq, read October 16, 2026). That is a statement about eligibility, not a promise to write your car. The age limit, any inspection and the plans offered at your reading all still apply.

A company that prints no limit at all is a different case. It has not said no, and it has not said yes. Treat both as a reason to ask, not as an answer.

What to read on a contract this far out

The exclusions page first. Then the pre-existing condition clause. Then whatever the contract says about maintenance proof on a claim. Those three pages decide more at 200,000 miles than the coverage tier's name does. Our guide to exclusionary and listed-parts contracts covers how each shape reads.

Confirm against your VIN. The factory clock starts at first sale, not at the model year. Terms vary by model year, trim and market. At this reading no factory term in our brand table is running.

Who prints a limit at or past 200,000 miles

4 of 21 companies in the file print a limit at or past 200,000 miles. 1 print a lower one. 16 print none at all, which you learn only at the quote.

At or past 200,000 miles

  • Alpha Warranty Services no cap
  • American Dream Auto Protect 200,000
  • Endurance no cap
  • Omega Auto Care 250,000

Printed limit below 200,000 miles

Alphabetical, not ranked. A printed limit is what the company says on its own pages; the quote decides.

Before you sign

What to expect on your model

Mileage is half of it. The other half is the car itself. The advertiser keeps model-year pages by make and model with the factory terms and the questions owners ask. Those pages are theirs, not ours.
